Chapter Five—The Protista

Instructions for Saving PDF Files to Your Hard Disk: Depending on the settings in your browser, the chapter PDF file listed above will either save to your hard disk or open in Acrobat reader. If the file opens within the browser using the Acrobat plug-in, you can click the Save button to save it to your hard disk. Or, you can right-click (Windows) or Command-click (Mac) the link and choose Save in the pop-up menu that appears. This will save it directly to your hard disk without opening it. You can then open it from your hard disk by double-clicking it.
