What's a web feed?

[XML] Web feeds are a way for Web sites to syndicate, or "push," their most recent content to users of RSS news readers (also known as "news aggregators").

News readers are available as standalone software programs, plug-ins to e-mail clients (e.g., Outlook), or via third-party Web sites. Bloglines and My Yahoo! offer free Web-based news readers. Weblogs Compendium maintains a comprehensive list of news readers.

You can read more about RSS at Slate, Darwin Magazine, Wired, or at myriad other sites via a search engine such as Google.

Sinauer Associates' web feed contains summary information about all titles listed on our "New Titles" or "Forthcoming Titles" pages. It's a low-hassle way for you to reliably hear about any new titles from Sinauer Associates.
