Instructors: If you are an instructor and you request examination copies of textbooks and supplements from our Website; and/or if you request preview access to password-protected areas of our Website; and/or if you register as a user of our Website, we may ask you for information which will allow us to confirm your instructor status. This may include information such as your name, e-mail address, telephone number, the school / academic institution at which you teach, the course you teach and the book or product you are using for that course.
We may also contact your institution to confirm your instructor status. Information you provide may be shared with your school / academic institution during this confirmation step.

Surveys: We may contact you by email to request that you provide feedback by completing surveys on your user experience of our Website and its content. Completion of these surveys is not compulsory. Our Website may allow students to carry out work—such as online learning and quizzes. Both instructors and students create user accounts by entering their name and e-mail address and setting a password. Protection of information entered by students on our Website is controlled by password systems that depend upon both instructors and students keeping their passwords secure.
Each student only has access to his or her own work or scores. An instructor can only access work or scores of students signed up to courses run by that particular instructor.
